Gaithersburg Book Festival: 10th Anniversary, May 18

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a literary festival in Gaithersburg, Maryland that was modeled after the National Book Festival in Washington DC. Authors of both national and local acclaim address and interact with readers at a free all-day, outdoor event set on the grounds of Gaithersburg’s City Hall. The event has something for everyone covering a wide range of topics including children’s books, memoirs, fiction, non-fiction, historical novels, and much more. The festival includes panel discussions on hot topics in the book world and one-on-one conversations between authors and critics and industry insiders.

Free parking and shuttle buses are available from the Shady Grove Metro station and Lakeforest Mall.
